aerogen pro

The Aerogen Pro is a portable, ultrasonic medical system used in hospitals to aerosolize prescribed medications for inhalation by infants, children, and adults, whether they are on or off ventilators. It features a quiet, efficient delivery, with the Pro-X controller offering 30-minute or continuous modes, powered by a rechargeable battery or AC/DC adapter, making it a versatile tool for respiratory therapy throughout the

Key Components & Features

· Aerogen Solo Nebulizer: The core part that turns liquid medicine into a breathable mist using vibration, not traditional jet nebulization.

· Pro-X Controller: The power source with selectable 30-minute (automatic shutoff) and continuous modes, indicator lights for charge/status, and a rechargeable battery.

· Connectivity: Connects to the nebulizer via a controller cable and can be used with various breathing circuits using T-pieces.

· Portability: Compact design with mounting brackets for IV poles or bed rails.

· Silent Operation: Produces virtually no noise, ideal for patient comfort.

How it Works

1. Medication is added to the Aerogen Solo nebulizer.

2. The controller is connected to the Solo and powered on.

3. A press of the button activates the ultrasonic element to create a fine aerosol.

4. Patients inhale the medication through their ventilator circuit or mask.

Usage

· Hospital-Based: Primarily for hospital use, supporting various ventilation types (invasive, non-invasive, high-flow).

· All Ages: Suitable for neonates, pediatrics, and adults.

· Single Patient Use: The nebulizer (Aerogen Solo) is designed for single-patient use.
