Core uses and functions
Humidify the airways: Replenish moisture to the respiratory tract and relieve discomfort caused by dryness.
Assists expectoration: thins thick phlegm in the lungs, making it easier to cough up.
Drug Solvent: Often used as a solvent, mixed with bronchodilators (such as albuterol) and inhaled through a nebulizer.
Clean the nasal cavity: It can also be used for nasal irrigation or nasal drip to relieve nasal congestion.
Precautions for use
Sterile operation: Inhalation grade sterile saline should be used for nebulization (such as single-dose small vials). Avoid using large bottles or homemade non-sterile saline to prevent infection.
Single use: Opened single-dose bottles (e.g. 3ml or 5ml format) should be used up in one go and the remaining liquid must be discarded.
Equipment maintenance: After atomization, the atomization mask and medicine cup must be cleaned according to the instructions to prevent bacterial growth.
